Principal of Tigerman McCurry Architects and the former Director of the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Architecture, Mr. Tigerman is a practicing architect and product designer whose work is internationally recognized. The author of six books, he has been a visiting professor at numerous institutions. The winner of over 125 design awards, he represented the U.S. at the Venice Biennale in 1976 and 1980. In 1994 he founded Archeworks with Interior Designer Eva Maddox. In 2007 Mr. Tigerman was selected as a Purpose Prize Fellow by Civic Ventures, and he was recently named recipient of the 2008 Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education by the The Board of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

Mr. Tigerman’s recent work includes The Pacific Garden Mission, a shelter for the homeless in Chicago, IL, the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in Skokie, IL, the BAC/IMI National Training Center and the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center.

Lectures are free and open to the public. All lectures are held at Archeworks and begin at 6:00 pm.
