Exhibit on Sustainable Furniture

The Archeworks student team that focused on the re-use of office furniture is participating in an exhibit at the Chicago Cultural Center May 28th -August 14th 2005 titled Sustainable Furniture - Chicago Designers Respond. The exhibit, sponsored by the Chicago Cultural Center, The Chicago Furniture Designers Association will exhibit a collection of sustainably designed furniture. All of the pieces will be originally designed with a focus on reduced environmental impact. Each piece will be made from either renewable resources, recycled materials, less energy intensive processes and will result in less toxic waste.
