Why Do We Need A New Form of Housing?
|
|
The Problem of Overhousing
Having more living space than one needs can be thought of as "Overhousing." In and of itself,
overhousing is not necessarily a problem. But according to HUD, many elderly as spending the
majority of their income to maintain a living space that is larger than they need.
The modularity of Homeostasis prevents overhousing--the resident can easily sell or rent out any
unneeded space.
