Mr. Davis is a licensed architect with degrees in architecture from the University of Virginia and UIC. He received the Young Architect Award from AIA Chicago in 1997 and was included in the Young Architects issue of P/A in 1993. He currently leads the architecture practice in the Midwest for CDM, a global environmental and water infrastructure engineering firm. He has previously worked for the Chicago Park District, OWP+P and DMJM Design|AECOM. Nearly all of his work has been for the public sector, with an additional focus on the urban design relationships between architecture, infrastructure and the environment. He has been visiting faculty in urban design and architecture at Notre Dame and IIT and has researched, lectured and published scholarly works on the Prairie School architect Dwight Perkins. Mr. Davis is also a local elected official in Oak Park, Illinois..
