Mason's design and construction experience includes employment with Jonathan Foote Architects, Bitnar Architects, and Medicine Hat Design, Inc. in Montana and with Charles Rose Architects in Boston. Projects at Charles Rose include the Port of Entry in Del Rio, Texas, the Student Union Center and Business School at the University of South Dakota, and numerous residences and design competitons. From 2004 to 2007 he taught undergraduate and graduate design studios at the Boston Architectural College and founded the school's Design/Build Workshop. As the 2007 recipient of the Rotch Traveling Scholarship, Mason traveled internationally for nine months studying architecture and urbanism. He recently relocated to Chicago, where he is a designer and project manager with Casimir Kujawa Architecture.
